Keep them ticking through "Meticulous Attention to Detail"

Dr. Henry Newman spent many years attending to hearts as a cardiologist. He was well known in his profession for having the patience and the skills needed to perform exceptional cardiac catherizations. After entering retirement, Dr. Newman found himself needing new "tickers" to apply his talent.

Having a hobby of collecting antique clocks fueled his passion for repairing them and keep them in perfect running condition led him to the Clock Repair Program at the School of Horology (part of the National Association of Watch and Clock Collector's headquarters in Columbia, PA). The instructor at the school frequently stressed to his students that they must have a professional attitude and pay "meticulous attention to detail". Its no suprise that Dr. Newman excelled in the classes as they paralleled his own cardiology practice. Both involved a thorough understanding of basic knowlege, developing the skills necessary to perform procedures and also having a spot-on instinct when diagnosing problems. He graduated in 2005 and his meticulous attention to detail and friendly smile has earned him a reputation as the go-to guy ever since.
